About Dr. T. Vaibhav Raj
Braces are fixed appliances with brackets bonded to your teeth and a wire running through them, adjusted every 4 to 6 weeks. They are highly effective for almost any case, including complex ones, and are visible during treatment. Clear aligners are removable transparent trays worn 22 hours a day, replaced every 1 to 2 weeks, and progress is reviewed every 4 to 8 weeks. Aligners are nearly invisible but are not suitable for every case, severe rotations, complex bite issues, and certain skeletal problems still respond better to braces.
