1. What Prudentoe is
Prudentoe Dental Care is an at-home dental practice based in Hyderabad. We bring a fully-equipped portable dental setup and a qualified, registered dentist to your home or place of residence to perform examinations, treatments, and aftercare. These terms govern your use of the prudentoe.com website and your relationship with us as a patient.
By booking an appointment, you accept these terms. If anything here does not match what you were told verbally, the written terms apply.
2. Bookings and confirmation
You can book a home visit through our website form, WhatsApp (+91 83098 32854), or by phone. A booking is considered confirmed only after a Prudentoe team member calls or messages you back to confirm — typically within 30 minutes during working hours (8 AM to 8 PM, seven days a week).
The appointment window we offer is a best estimate based on the doctor's schedule and travel time. We aim to arrive on time and will WhatsApp you if there is any delay.
3. Cancellations and rescheduling
You can reschedule or cancel any appointment by calling or messaging us. We ask for at least 4 hours' notice so the slot can be offered to another patient. There is no cancellation fee.
If the doctor is unable to attend due to circumstances beyond our control (medical emergency, vehicle breakdown, force majeure), we will reschedule at the earliest mutually convenient slot at no additional cost.
4. Clinical care and informed consent
Every appointment begins with an examination and a treatment plan, explained clearly to you in language you understand. No treatment proceeds without your informed verbal consent. For complex or surgical procedures, written informed consent is obtained before treatment begins.
You have the right at any time to ask questions, request more information, decline a recommended treatment, or seek a second opinion. We will not pressure you to proceed.
5. Pricing and payment
Indicative pricing for all major treatments is published on the pricing page. The final cost of your treatment is confirmed in writing before any procedure begins, and depends on the clinical complexity of your specific case.
Payment is made directly to Prudentoe after the treatment is completed at your home. We accept UPI, bank transfer, cash, and major debit and credit cards. We do not take advance payments before an appointment. Receipts and itemised invoices are provided.
There is no separate home-visit fee. The price you see is the all-in cost.
6. Records, prescriptions, and follow-up
We maintain clinical records of every appointment as required by professional practice. You can request a copy of your own records at any time by writing to support@prudentoe.com.
Where prescriptions are required (antibiotics, analgesics, etc.), they are issued by the treating BDS-qualified dentist and shared with you in writing — physical or digital.
Aftercare guidance is shared via WhatsApp after every appointment. For procedures that need follow-up, the follow-up visit is scheduled by mutual agreement.
7. Clinical limitations
Most dental procedures can be safely and effectively performed at home with our portable setup. Some procedures — primarily those requiring CBCT (cone-beam CT) scans, OPG (panoramic X-ray) imaging, or sedation under general anaesthesia — cannot be done in a home setting and will be referred to an appropriate imaging centre or hospital. Your dentist will advise honestly during consultation if any in-clinic step is required for your specific case.
In a medical emergency during or after treatment, we will provide immediate first aid and arrange transfer to the nearest hospital where appropriate.
8. Doctor credentials
Every dentist who visits a Prudentoe patient holds a BDS or higher dental qualification and is registered with the appropriate State Dental Council. Doctors carry their registration credentials to every appointment and will produce them on request.
9. Website use
The prudentoe.com website is provided for general information and to facilitate bookings. Information published on the website (including service pages and blog content) is for educational purposes only and does not constitute clinical advice for any individual case. For clinical advice, book an examination.
You may not use the website to attempt to harm its operation, scrape content systematically, send spam through the booking form, or impersonate Prudentoe in any way.
10. Intellectual property
The Prudentoe brand, the prudentoe.com website design, copy, photographs of our team and patients (where consented), and the “India's First Home Dental Service” positioning are the intellectual property of Prudentoe Dental Care. Article and blog content is available for personal reading. Reproduction or commercial reuse without written permission is not allowed.
11. Liability
Prudentoe is liable for the clinical care it provides, in line with standard dental practice. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for outcomes that depend on factors outside our reasonable control, or for damages exceeding the cost of the treatment provided. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or related to these terms or the services provided will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana. Wherever possible, we will try to resolve disputes through direct dialogue first. The Grievance Officer details are in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
If we update these terms, we update the “Last updated” date at the top. Substantial changes will be communicated to active patients via WhatsApp or email.
